New 5 Star Golf in Tersefanou, Larnaca

Cyprus: Proposed Golf course attracting foreign investors. Cyprus has an added appeal for the potential buyer as it offers a full but comparatively inexpensive lifestyle. The climate, personal security, medical treatment costs, cost of living and potential for year round (rental) income are some of the reasons why Cyprus is becoming so popular to the foreign buyer. Plans are currently under review for a luxury 5 star golf course country club just outside Larnaca, and specifically in Tersefanou area

Scheduled for completion in 2012, the golf course at Tersefanou Golf & Country Club is expected to be PGA approved and will boast a five-star hotel and spa facilities. There will also be luxury villas and apartments built on and around the course.

Since the announcement of the Tersefanou golf course, several new developments have sprung up around Tersefanou and the area of the golf course. This has also had an effect on other villages in the locality, such as Kiti, Mazatos and Pavolia, which are all seeing an increase in the building of villas and apartments to accommodate the expected influx of golfers and holiday makers to Cyprus.

Tersefanou Holiday resort is one of the newest locations for imminent development in Larnaca. This area offers ideal conditions for a life of harmony with nature. On this part of the Larnaca basin the coast is almost entirely lined with long unspoiled beaches and boasts a backdrop of rolling hills and agricultural land as far as the eye can see. The village of Tersefanou has retained much of its tradition and culture although the proposed golf course in the area will inject a cosmopolitan feel to the region and is already attracting buyers from all over Europe, certainly a privileged place that provides a promising future.
