You will be pleased you decided to visit. The weather in Cyprus will not disappoint. Even when it rains it is still exciting as it is normally accompanied by violent thunderstorms and spectacular sky displays.

A rich and vibrant history has bestowed Cyprus with many archaeological treasures from Roman times to Byzantine and Ancient Greek, traces of all these regimes are found almost everywhere. Religious monuments are also varied and important examples are scattered throughout such as the incredible remains of a 4th century, seven-aisled basilica, Khrysopolitissa, said to have been built by St Paul himself.

Nature lovers can enjoy abundant wildlife, foxes, hares, sea turtles, the shy Moufflon, not to mention the birds and hundreds of species of flowering plants. The coast has large open bays of sandy and shingly beaches and precipitous cliffs that plunge into the sea. The leisurely pace, the kind and genuine locals, always ready with a smile and a wave and who welcome all and consider a visit to their island as a compliment.
